Today is an expansion on last week’s letter about deadstock vintage. We’re all familiar with the usual elements of a hang tag - barcode, company logo, maybe some marketing copy or a photo. When you’re hunting for vintage, you may come across another tag that’s small, white to off white, and full of punched-out holes. I’m talking about an instantly recognizable sign of true vintage, also known as the Kimball Tag.
